Men's clothing => TALL (not big)

Hiya,
I am 6'4" feet tall and it is not easy to get clothing that fits my size without going extra large. XXL, however, is more for the big people than for tall people.
I know that M&S and NEXT have a big & tall range that actually caters for tall people (and not almost exclusively for big people).
Are there any more high street retailers out there that I am missing?
Cheers!

The only one I know is the original, High & Mighty. They do have a website but, unfortunately, as a newbie I can't post it. Give it a Google0

Depends where you live, There is a shop not far from me that cater for short, tall and larger people.
Try you local papers and phone directories, google search your area.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
There was a thread afew weeks ago where someone was asking about trousers in 37" length and a few places were mentioned. Might be worth a search for it.0

I went for M&S and are quite happy with the 2-inch longer formal shirts. The socks are good too but the winter socks are probably best ordered a size larger than usually.
I wish they would do plain 2-inch longer t-shirts too. Any ideas where I can get single-coloured t-shirts in longer sizes?0 -
Hi
I posted a question on this looking for trousers, this is the thread (we are still on the lookout!)

My husband gets work shirts in M&S you mentionned and we have found H&M in XL to have good sleeve and body length in jumpers, casual shirts and coats without being massive in the body. He has been looking for new coat for years and managed to get 3 that fit this autumn in H&M! They do vary though by item so sometimes you have to try lots of styles before finding long enough ones.
Good luck!0 -
I have now found a website that does t-shirt with a length of 41 inch for people of 6'6" and taller.
See:

I'm sure there must be more shops out there that cater for tall people.
Please post any links that you know of to sites for tall people. Thanks!0 -
I am 35 and 6'8" and medium build. I have over the years sorted out the best way to clothes to fit!!!!
Next, 6 years ago they did 37inch inside leg on everything in the catalogue (XXL) and then stopped after a year. Then bizarrley last year did it again for one catalgue only
They have now stopped again!!
However, they still do XL leg (should be 35 inch but is often 36 inch). Also, more importantly a lot of stuff like their cargo pants (that I have just bought) can be extended, they usually have 2 inches at the bottom of extra material that a clothes alterer that will do for about 10 quid.
That's a really good general tip. If you like trousers/jeans then get theme extended. If there isn;t enough material then I just buy three pairs. Then get the clothes alterer to use the material from one to extend the other two, then turn that pair into shorts. SO for the price of three you get two pairs that fit you and a pair of shorts
It is a lot cheaper to do this than High and Mighty or other BIG AND TALL shops. You will also get much better quality/choice and you can buy what you want. Also if you buy the three pairs in the sale, like in NEXT or GAP it is a lot cheaper/ I even do it with jeans, though obviuosly it only works with jeans that are a have detail stictching already on etc.
I do this with things like tops too sometimes
I get my shirts made to measure, when I went to Thailand I got fitted and now they send them for only 15 quid each and they fit like no other shirt you can imangine. Even if you can't get there they will do it from measurements you send and they are very reliable!
By the way, in SPORTS DIRECT they are selling hoodies (they are KANGOL - VOX technology), the XXL size is fits me and then some and is not baggy at all. Really good! Have bought 4, they even have builit in headphones!!
Finally, if you find something that fits buy many many copies of it!!
Hope this helps!!0 -
