. We went to them directly initially and were quoted approx 5.45 approximately and 1.5% of the mortgage and if you pay interest rate of 5.7% the arrangement is £600. what are your thoughts? thanks in advance again.

How long ago was "initially"? The rate that you have quoted doesn't appear to be available now unless you are an existing customer of their's and they have offered you a retention rate.
