i use tigi pros and think they are much better than GHD's. they have titanium plates and heat up to 210 but combined with the titanium plates they are amazing!0

For your hair type I recommend the Karmin Professional Titanium Flat Iron, with ceramic heating and titanium plates won't damage hair like others, it works pretty good, removes static and leaves my hair silky, shiny and super straight. I bought it at myhairstylingtools.0

Somebody was telling me how fabulous Cloud 9 are today. She has asked her husband to buy her them for Christmas.

I love my ghds. If they broke I'd most likely buy ghd again but I'd like to try the cloud9 ones.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
GHD's are by far the best hair straighteners ive ever used (and ive had loads) all the other straighteners try to mimic GHD's with style etc.
With the ones that broke are you 100% they were genuine as a lot of fakes have problems with sparks etcIs a Bipolar bear

I use the Karmin G3 Salon Pro which works pretty good, it has tourmaline ceramic plates that cause less damage to the hair, it keeps the hair soft, shiny and super straight, plus you can also curl your hair with it if your like. I totally recommend it !

Hope this helps and good luck.

I have these ones! I think they are brill... I have very very unruly wavy hair, and can't go out of the house without using these.

I have stupidly thick curly hair and the only things that will touch them are Nicky Clarke desiRED hair straighteners, they're perfect for me and have different heat settings so I can do my fringe on a cooler heat and a salon length cable so that it reaches from the plug to the mirror
really can't fault them tbh. Just saw them in asda for £40 because I'm considering buying an emergency pair- had these around 2 years and they're still going strong

i have very long very curly coarse hair and I use GHD's, I have normal and the extra wide ones, both work but the wide ones are quicker
I also use Redken straightening serum when I am drying my hair and also use an oil protection before using the GHD's.
I have tried loads of other straighteners but these definitely give the best results0 -
I'ld definitely recommend GHD. I have pretty thick hair but these irons literally straighten every inch of my hair. Make sure you use a good heat protectant though

I have natually very curly, coarse hair and when my GHDs broke I went to Sally's in my town and asked for their help in choosing new straighteners.
They recommended FHI, and I did query whether they were as good as GHD, but the sales advisor pointed out that they sold GHD but she would recommend FHI over them (and they're cheaper!).
They're brilliant, and heat up to 230, but you can adjust it to a lower temperature if you need to.0
