I need a PS3 - any good deals

So far the best deal I have come across is at Tesco direct (£219, with 1 game and 1 movie).

Lol. No I don't "want" one. Hehe. I want to gift it to my hub for his birthday and wedding anniversary both in the first week of December. So I "need" it this month. Lol.

Have a look at the latest offers on Cheap Games Consoles guide. Doesn't appear to be any with movies though.

I posted this one yesterday on the Games Consoles roundup. Appears to be the same price as the one you've mentioned after discount has been applied.

Thank you so much Lugh. I don't want one with a movie. It's just that's the one that appeared the best deal. I'll have a look at the ones u have mentioned. Oh and I didn't think of looking at the games console guide.

What a horrible, picky comment to make. Did you miss the "Be nice to all moneysavers" banner across the top of the forums or were you just trying to make yourself look clever?

OP, I'm guessing some better deals will appear in the next few weeks, I'm after one for my daughter as well so I'll watch this thread with interest

Best to ignore comments like that pulliptears. Think the correct term is troll, they usual expect a reaction. Don't give it to them.

I tend to tell them to sod off using my extrasensory powers , I do slip from time to time though I try not to react.

Anyway, the deals posted above appear to be pretty good offers, and don't forget you can always trade the games in for cash, and other offers at times too. This might also help to bring the price down a bit for you if you don't want the what comes with the bundles. That's one reason why bundles can be better than buying the console by itself. The games usually work out cheaper too if bought with a bundle, especially if bought at a decent price.

The best place for trade-ins appears to be CeX though Game, Gamestation, HMV and I think Argos also do trade-ins. If you're not sure, you could always ask on here e.g. what's the best place for trade-ins for Resistance 3 on PS3?. :money:
