Salmon

I have salmon, that will need cooked today, the only problem is that we had a big lunch out today and we are hungry.

Can this be cooked tonight and then reheated for dinner tomorrow.

    I would cook it and then keep it in tupperware in fridge overnight, will be fine for another day or two. Just make sure you heat it properly before eating it.

    Unless it looks/smells as if it needs cooking today i'd leave it until tomorrow. There is no need to cook something just because the 'use by' date says you should!

    I would cook it today - as there is a small chance that it would be past its best tomorrow. and the fresher it is cooked the better.
    cooked salmon is perfectly ok to use the next day (or the day after) as long as its been cooled quickly and refrigerated - try to put it in the coldest part of the fridge - with mine its the TOP shelf. then you can reheat it the next day or - and i prefer to do this as I KNOW the salmon will then be thoroughly reheated - use it in a seafood pie or just serve cold!
    Ive also frozen cooked salmon - its still perfectly good to use in a pie or defrosted and reheated in a sauce or other liquid (freezing can dry it out a bit).
