Limited number of partial grants for CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL courses

While browsing a TEFL forum I came across a post about the British Council subsidising CELTAs/Trinity CertTESOLs for a limited number of university graduates.
If you are British and you graduated from a UK university in 2009, 2010 or 2011 and are currently unemployed and not in full-time higher education, you can apply.
Note that the average cost of a CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL is around £1,000 and that the British Council will only pay 50% of the course fee. Note also that their payment is subject to your passing the course and attending an additional one-day training course.
Before applying, please read all the information on the following link carefully: http://www.teachingenglish.org.uk/graduate-scheme
The closing date for applications is 5 December 2011 (two weeks' time).

Shamelessly bumping in case anyone's interested!

It's a fantastic opportunity for those who are interested in getting into TEFL and who meet the criteria. Note that you can't get funding for these courses anywhere else.If I don't respond to your posts, it's probably because you're on my 'Ignore' list.0
