My local ASDA (Wembley) has Schwartz Mulled Wine sachets reduced to 50p for a box of 6 bags - can't see this on the website, but there was loads of stock on the shelves so hopefully this is a nationwide offer, not just local.
They also have a 3 for £10 offer on wines:

Personally, I go for the Hardy's Voyage Shiraz (because a, it's tasty and b, it's £5.48 a bottle outside of the offer, so if you buy three they're actually paying you to drink wine!
), but there's plenty to choose from.
You use two mulled wine sachets per bottle of wine (which is topped up to a litre with water and some brown sugar), so £10.50 gets you three litres' worth of wine & sachets, perfect for Christmas parties or even putting into gift baskets (Secret Santa anyone?)
You can add the usual oranges, cloves, cinnamon sticks etc if you want to, but I found it perfectly good as is.
Happy Christmas folks
(please booze responsibly)
