NI on SA form?

Hello,
I am completing my SA form at the moment. In the 2005/2006 tax year I had self-employed income plus PAYE income (tax and NI were deducted obvioulsy from PAYE work). I am confused as there doesn't seem to be any mention of NI already paid on the SA form. Am I missing something?
Thanks

NI under PAYE is totally separate from NI under self employment.
Self employment is class 4 and calculated solely on self employed profits regardless of how much your PAYE earnings were.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

Unless your total earnings from both employment and self employment exceed the higher NIC threshold, in which case, you may be due a refund from the NIC office - if you expect your total earnings to exceed the threshold in a future year, you can apply to have some of your NIC contributions "deferrred" so that they send you a bill afterwards rather than paying too much and then getting a refund. Have a look at the HMRC website for "deferment of NIC".0
