On sunday OH got fed up of the heat in Mr T's & went out into the foyer to wait for me.
I was a while & was expecting a sulky OH but instead he was buzzing
It seems he spotted this guy coming out of the doors with a trolley laden high with electrical goods, champagne, chocs, toys etc & the alarms went off. T's CS staff ignored it  & my OH shouted at them. The SA who was whoopsing the sandwiches took heed & cottoned on & chased the trolley guy. Trolley was abandoned & the guy ran away laughing.
We spoke to SA today & he revealed that was £1500 of stuff on the guy's trolley .............

Happened to pop by Mr Ts....just to see if they had any of the mingles. Sadly they didn't. Did come across the Koko truffles with a SEL of £2. Took a box and put them through the till....£1.01. Did also see a spot for some Terry's All Gold Dark 200g box also labelled up at £1.01. Sadly there was nothing in the gap so couldn't get any.

(got some buy 1 get 2 free 2.99 selections boxes today from mr m)

i think the only manufacturing going on at the moment must be cadburys or nestle - the only thing the shops seem to be selling is chocolate.:eek:

does anyone ever buy anythign else nowadays - tescos profits are down for 4th qtr in a row compared with last year - shame............:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

packed lunches sorting anyway for next .... many years now

    choc/fruit sandwich (ham) crisps.

It's made me feel so much better knowing someone else is doing this;););), I know it's universal and is great to have but they are really making me jump through hoops this year:(

Thanks, I'll start practising my jumps! My OH won't do it either - thinks it's a load of carp, so it's my job. Not looking forward to it. As you've said, it's so time consuming.icon9.gif One RA I was doing, I had the audacity to call rubbish, rubbish! Got rejected, rubbish is debris!:rotfl::rotfl:Was advised years ago when doing these statements - pretend a 4 year old is reading it (would a 4 yo know debris?) and write it so that they could understand it! Thought that was a bit of an insult to the 'mainly' male domination of the trade.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Has anyone else had a cat with a lampshade on? Do they get used to it ok? I am worried about her not being able to groom and wash herself :(

No but my small dog had a lampshade after I sent him for a minor operation to remove two small things and he managed much better than the big lab. He grew quite attached to it.

I thought he looked a bit like the dog in the HMV ad.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

    YES :(
and admittedly they do get used to it. I trimmed mine off so it wasn't so long & stupid. It's the cat food suck inside that's gross. Try some Rescue Remedy in their water to calm the cat down.

Heading off home tonight afer a few days away but just had a phone call to say we've been burgled at home. Fortunately the little sh1ts only took stuff they could put in their pockets so some old mobile phones, my tomtom and a change jar that I can work out from a brief chat on the phone and guiding someone around the house. Will know more when I get home but appears all the big stuff is still there and 2 kids were seen in the area at about the right time carrying a large glass jar! :(
Oh no!! Hope it's no worse when you get home.
We've still got some old stocks in our village. If they catch the little bl££ders send 'em down here!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
