The high winds in Scotland have caused a wind turbine in Ardrossan to blow up.

Sorry all,
I generally lurk as I don't have much to say as our local doesn't have a scanner and is useless. I did want to comment on a couple of bits tonight though
Thanks so much for all that contribute as you save me and my family so much money for the bits we do manage to get, especially in toys.
Also wanted to say thanks for all the chat. I've been playing Million Pound Drop tonight whilst reading because I'm a quiz geek and was able answer about the storms without hesitation
Finally really wanted to say what a beautiful girl you've got there Elsie. I'm so sorry for her loss but I'm sure that she's got a great friend in you
Thanks all for brightening my days xxx0 -
Had to visit Mother-In-Law in hospital tonight so made hubby detour past an Extra on the way home. I think I created a monster lol!!! Got him to scan a Hello Kitty Kitchen, SEL said I think £24.00 reduced from £60.00. It scanned at £10.97. He spent the next 45 minutes running back and forth to the scanner lol!! There was a Hello Kitty playset that scanned at £1.00 but when I went through SS till it came up as emergency withdrawal and couldnt be sold
The lemon and lime jaffa cake bars were down to 35p now, and I got a couple of sunscreens and insect repellants for just over a pound reduced from over £8.00 (eldest is travelling to India early next year with Raleigh International to do some charity work, local nurse told me to get suncream and insect repellant so well pleased it was cheap!)
