Cumbria, They are usually so nice in there, the male supervisor who is usually on, is great, I had about 10 bunches of reduced bananas the other night going through the self serve ranging from 10 - 27p he just put them all through at 10p for me. :T I was the only one in, so it wasnt like he was super busy either.
Im hoping my experience was a 1 off bad day kinda thing. I usually have great shops in there with lovely staff.
I cant moan at the SA for checking, its her job, and TBH I would do the same, but to come out and accuse me of fraud like that  I didn't even get a sorry.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

I wish I'd known you were going to Cuba, I could have leant you a guide book, maps and gave you some of the non tourist money as a little of it comes in handy. I would have also asked you to bring something back.:o lol
i grew up in the highest village in scotland, the winters were long cold and lonely (and no central heating!!!) but then the summers were wonderful warm fun and everyone envied us when we could run for miles go fantastic bike rides play on the hills, make gang huts, and swim in the burns, i remember we used to bake some weird things in the winters to make corbohydrates, it was hard with no fresh eggs and milk.
we were always happy tho, and this life was great when you were a child. couldn't go back to it now though.
aw HC i would have loved to have brought you something back, good chance we will go back next year though, so will deffo let you know when. xlost 9 stone since Feb 2011

total addict to this site!:T
and pole dancers in the tesco glitches !!!!!es bar x0 -
I am an addict, my wife now knows if she asks me to pick something up, it is never going to be a 5min trip.
* I cannot drive past a T's store without popping in
* I cannot just pick up a loaf of Bread or pint of milk without checking for glitches
* I cannot walk around T's without checking on here if any new glitches have been found
* My Freezer is full of woopsies and glitches
* I have visited more than 3 different T's stores in a day
* I have visited the same T's store more than 3 times in a day
The problem is I don't wanna quit, I already stopped smoking and this is 1 addiction that is not hurting anyone apart from limiting my time with my family!!!!!
Also are there any other symptoms of knowing when your addicted.0 -

Had a nightmare in T's yesterday.
Did a bit fo shopping to max out my coupons, comfort, cheese, free chips, some tins for the cupboard etc etc. For the first time ever the SA scrutinised every single coupon, then she rang for her supervisor, and when she arrived the SA said, I think she's being fraudulent, look at all these coupons.
I was mortified, there was a queue of 5 people behind me all tutting.
So I looked the supervisor straight in the eye and said, suspend the transaction and I will go to customer services with you whilst you check my coupons and I will ring HO to get the situation clarified, No way am I attempting any fraud.
All I had was 3 x £1 tesco price flop (cheese, cake & home) 5 x comfort, 2 x pilgrims, 1 x Chips (newspaper), 1 x £3 off cheese (tesco CC coupon). Hardly a huge stash.
So off I marched to CS, the trout on the CS desk who has issued me with 3 DTD over the last month was giving me evils.
Supervisor walks over and say, it's ok, we can take these coupons, I have just spoken to my manager, I had to check, as they looked photocopied, which is fraud. So I started telling her the difference between safe coupons and coupons you can print of as many times as you like.
Again I am having to explain Tesco's own policy to its own staff and a supervisor as well.
I was almost in tears & shaking like a leaf, leaving the store, I wasnt doing anything wrong, all my coupons were for items I had bought, yet I was made to feel like a criminal.
Thats really awful you should complain about how they made you feel. I have never used a coupon yet and I would be worried something like this would happen. She sounds like a jobs worth!!0 -
Coupon question....After getting 20 bottles of comfort at the same till on Monday morning (in 2 transactions), I went in yesterday and the woman at the ss till was really snappy. I mean it wasn't the same woman and some peeps in that Tesco are rude anyway.
Surely I didn't do anything wrong printing off as many coupons as I needed? It's not the same as photocopying a paper coupon? I'm getting a bit worried now......No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I have stocked up on the holts too but didn't realise the screen wash was a bargain too - could u tell me is it Tesco brand and what price does it scan at? Many thanks
The screenwash was £3 for 5 litres, same price as the Ts own brand so I figured that wasn't too bad. Had a quick look online and its £4.xx in most places. Halfords are looking £6 for their own brand 5L bottle.
As for coupons, I mentioned last night that the SA left one of my Dettol coupons out of the till when she finished my transaction. I bought the exact right items, there was no offer on, no price reduction just a black & white printed coupon. I think that's where the problem lay so today I'll print them off on the parents printer as they have a colour one (well so do I but I'm not venturing to the attic to get it!).0 -

I wouldnt worry I got 30 bottles on sunday night in 6 different transactions all at the same time using the same SA, she was more than happy to put them through, and complimented me on my money saving.
Ive been trouted a few times before, you take it on the chin, and move on to another SA or store, but I have never been accused of anything, I dont remember seeing her before so the SA may be an Xmas temp, and could have just done her training and thought she was being eagle eyed.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
