loving the stash photos...and how neat and organised other people are....mines more one of those 'throw it in and slam the door shut quick' type of cupboards :) off now to dream about stashes and tidy cupboards....it will only ever be a dream in this house!! :)

  • ok - clearly a touchy subject regarding the re-stickering of barcodes....

but it is NOT illegal.... cant remember who it was that mentioned that companies are not ment to re-sticker items to charge a higher price.. but they are correct in saying this..... They would have a lot to answer for if this was brought to light...
Only exception is regarding REDUCING items - hence the yellow stickers on Whoopsies - They HAVE to state the original Price - and then the reduced price...

and on the note of 'obtainong goods by deception' - well, everyone that has knowingly obtained a DTD item (knowing they were being charged more than the SEL) is also committing the same crime... You are deceiving the store into believeing you were unaware of the higher price paid - until you checked your receipt....... therefore deceiving CS staff....

Also anyone that has purchased a 1p item - KNOWING full well that the store is NOT ment to sell them... also 'obtaining goods by deception'

And anyone that has used a coupon for any other way it was intended (wether with multiple e-mail addresses, using more than one in one transaction, using for other items... etc etc) - also 'obtaining goods by deception'

There are also other ways in which this 'Law' could be interpreted - but can you honestly say that none of you have ever done any of the above????? - i doubt it.......

    Pot,Kettle,Black.......

    Nope, sorry you are incorrect.

Getting DTD isn't a deception. You are merely exploiting Tescos generous remuneration policy for overcharges. No crime there. Whether you know or not is irrelevant.

Theres also no crime in paying 1p for an item. If you tendered a handful of gravel and it was accepted then thats it as far as contract law is concerned.

However deliberately (as someone has proved already tonight by doing a search on google) is a deliberate act of deception.

What worries me is that posters on here trying to suggest its not illegal may encourage others to break the law and that is highly unacceptable oon a public website!

Regarding the re-labelling of items. I don't know but my guess is the law will make allowance for correcting mistakes for example the scales which scanned as a footspa.
  • It's an iPhone 4s and I dont really know how to use it!

As far as I know you can't upload pics from PhotoBucket with the app on an iPhone. What you can do is upload the pic from your iPhone to PhotoBucket and then it will give you a link to post here.

If you have the PB app on an iPad then you can upload the pics from your iPad to PB then put them on here as a picture rather than an actual link.

Is your PB app on an iPhone/iPod or iPad?

Artha & Frequent I can't find the posts you are apologising for, what did you say ?

It's a spare wardrobe in my bedroom, I only used it for storing the hoover and the last person I was kind of seeing stored college stuff/change of clothes etc so it was pretty much empty. I was pretty surprised at for much I got in there, if I wanted too I could fit another shelving unit the same in front of that one.
