I've never managed to find the 1p nuts, despite trying ! I must be missing the boat on them all the time :(. Generally I find all the SA ok in this store, happy to put through vouchers and as long as you don't make too much of a nuisance of yourself, they'll be fine with DTD items too. Just remember to try and keep a low profile and be polite and curteous and you should be ok . I think you probably just got unlucky but learn from it and don't go to her till again ;)

Pick up a small basket of shopping including some beer, ham, cheese and 1p nuts went to pay

sa scans 1st pack of nuts and says "1p that can't be right how many packs have you got ?"

frequent smirks, then replies " two, they come in pairs"

sa gives slightly vacant look, scans 2nd pack says "that pack scans 1p to"

    frequent "is it 1p or 2p ?"

sa "2p or not 2p that is the question"

frequent " do u no shakespere"

    sa now smiling

frequent nearly bursting, " have you finished scanning my nuts "

sa red as a tomato burst out laughing and made that eye contact :D

frequent leaves with 2p nuts and a huge grin on face, told SG hope Arsenal lose tonight :D

He laughed as usual, then, well not 100 sure what he muffled out, but just said to him "mate am in my white overalls, how could you think i'm a banker."
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

    Comfort Update
Just got 5 small ones for 25p ... SSM vouchers weren't scanning so SA called for assistance. Was told that I could use 1 voucher per bottle so all was OK. BTW I had the whole page with graphics to back up the cut out vouchers.

    OLAY Update
Bought a load with OOD SEL but ALL scanned at reduced price. Gonna have to take them ALL back later :(

i'm going to go to T tonight with some vouchers that they sent me at the weekend- £5 off WYS £25 on clothing, a voucher to be used today only in that store, the clothing sale and extra CC points

Just a shame its the "cleanest" store around isnt it?!

I'm so sorry to ask but what should I be keeping an eye out for today? My day has been royally messed up as the court welfare lady can't make it so need to take 2 LOs out with runny noses & sneezes. I saw someone mention free chips so would like to know more. Also, are there new price flop books and anything to look out for yet?

I think you are right with your calculation. They were on offer in T's 3 for £5
I was surprised to get the voucher....so no cleverness on my part...just good luck!!
But as Sainsbury's only pricecheck branded goods, if the product is on offer in T's or Asda, any freebie coupons will give you a pricematch voucher.....Think we are onto a new glitch here !:rotfl:

I wish! Didn't get a pricematch voucher with my 3 from Sains. Maybe I didn't spend enough.
