It's really quiet on here tonight.
    RAWWWWWR...any better? ;)

Well I managed to get some speakers, and a genuine DTD.
Saw some with a SEL of £10 quick check and matched the speakers carried on shopping paid and went to pick DS up from school.

Was early so started checking receipt and noticed speakers had gone through at 14.97, so back to T's showed CS who went and had a look the label was for a very similar set only difference was 1 word so she refused to honour price let alone DTD. I said I would keep them as not a bad price and needed them for present.

Got outside and rang CS/HO, first guy was awful told me I should read the SEL more carefully and pay more attention so I put the phone down and called back, spoke to a lovely lady who was fantastic, she said I shouldn't have to scrutinise every bit of the SEL especially when it so closely matched so she said she would refund me, and then said oh and it will be double :T

Managed to pick up some nuggets, trust me to go through the till of a massive jerky nugget fan! Ended up giving her a few and she was very grateful, I thought it was least I could do when she never said a word when the manager came over telling her to make sure she was checking prices properly :A

There was some fuss over some tropicana stuff, saw them scan it then all I heard was that it needed clearing as it was put out too early? So not sure on that one, really hoped to catch what was going on as would love to have something to share with you guys.

APennySaved hope you are ok and not too sore!

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)
  • Sounds a bit like Bertie, he won't listen to a thing anyone says to him and sis has done her best training him.

He runs off if he sees another person/car on the lane and just won't come back.

    He pulls on his lead

He wants to be everywhere he shouldn't, even in the field worrying the sheep.

He loves going out in the car, just a shame he doesn't travel too well. :(
And he just won't leave my dog alone, especially if she tries to go for a lie down on her sofa. :( If I try to give my dog a cuddle or a pet on her sofa he goes nuts and tries to chase her off, if sis restrains him he does his best to get away whilst making some really weird noises, inc huffing.

Haha, sounds just like ours used to behave! He used to love sticking his head out of the car window whilst we were driving. I remember Mum & Dad doing all sorts to try to train him. It was back in the day of barbera woodhouse(?), rolled up newspaper to give him a smack, Choke chain collar, they even once tried driving down the street & throwing cold water on him from the car when he started barking at it. Probably all just made him worse but those were the done thing back then. So loving though, when he wasnt being mad.
  • Ewwww, I've just had my monthly shower and I'm all horrible and clean now. :(

There again, with a name like Bertie, perhaps he should be here with us. All our dogs have had names beginning with B, with most of them coming to us with those names. Ben, Bonnie (1), Bimbo, Billy (1), Bonnie (2), Bess OH named her, Billy (2) I named him - all rescue dogs in one way or another except Bess who we've had since a pup

Current 3 are Bonnie (2) 16 yr old black/tan Jack Russell cross, Bess 6 yr old rough coated, short-legged Jack, and Billy 2 yr old Jack Russell/Beagle/??? cross who sounds just like Bertie

    lol!

Sis wouldn't hit him in any way shape or form, or rub his nose in his you know what if he did it in the house. I did it to my dog and she turned out the best dog ever.

If you tell Bertie off, and I mean really tell him of he will take a pis s or a dump in the house just to be spiteful. I told him off one day and I really shouted at him as he bit me and he ran off to my room, by the time I got there he had pis sed on my duvet and he had a "haha got ya" look on his face. :( The duvet was old and was needing changed anyway, thankfully it hadn't soaked through to the bed as I got there quick enough but he went out my bedroom door on the end of my foot, but ssshhhhh, don't tell sis.;)

I don't know about sis but I'm sure me and mum would be glad to see the back of him (only joking sis).

Mum calls him "Bub" short for "Beelzeebub" :rotfl:
