Daddy made mine out of wood, it looked a bit like the old fashioned ones, just not quite as high.0 -
Fudge2 do i see a shredder in your pic? Can you give me some info on this please
Ahh sorry, it's not a shredder. I'm guessing you mean the thing at the back next to the Cars fleeces? It's an easy shaper.Gemini_Jes wrote: »Good evening all...missed a couple of days due to mother in law being diagnosed with MRSA...not good:( stressful time trying to arrange carers as she does not want to go into hospital (she discharged herself after spending 6 days).
Skimming though the last few days. Issyc...if you are reading, then I have just sent you a PM
Sorry to hear your MIL is unwell
My dad contracted MSA (not quite as bad) a couple of years ago when he was in hospital and he has been terrified of going into a hospital ever since, so I understand how your MIL feels about wanting to be at home.
I hope she is on the mend soon, sending :grouphug:

I use to be engaged to a lovely bloke who lives not very far from you in Carnoustie, he was great but his family didn;t like me thought i was leading him astray as he was younger than me - little did they know there son!!, but there is no point in trying to come between mother and son - someone is always going to get hurt, so sadly it finished, but heyho life goes on ....
We use to play snowball fights on the beach up there, it kept me fit - too bloody cold up there to stand still you would freeze to death with the wind coming in off the sea - perishing:eek::eek::eek:Very proud to be Strip club member No 430 -
When the car is snowed in it's very handy for getting the beer home
Haha! Nearest shop to mums is about 5 miles away and nearest supermarket is about 15.
When she gets snowed in, she gets snowed in. When we first moved here we had snow drifts 10' high on the lane a couple of years running.
The last few years it's never got above a couple of feet but it's impossible to dig ourselves out as we are half a mile from the main road.0 -

Evening all
Can I ask anyone who has got the Cars Filled Pencil cases, is it the Cars one scanning cheaper or the Cars 2? I saw one Cars (mainly Red cover) on it's own but it scanned at £8.00.
TIA
It's this one, Cars 2, barcode ending 5662A clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here

Lol that reminds me of something. I was in the bus station to get the bus to mums and there is a hurricane simulator, pay 2 quid to feel what it's like in a hurricane. Heaps of people were using it but it wasn't that great. If you want to feel what it's like to stand in a hurricane just go down to Aberdeen beach any day.0 -
