Congrats logie. I wish I could offer some advice but I just went off food. Didn't really suffer too bad with nausea but pregnancy was the best diet I'd ever been on. Both pregnancies resulted in sub-7lb babies but I didn't even put on their birth weights over the 9 months.

Have to confess something - I hated being pregnant but I strangely loved the labour. I think it was something to do with 9 months of no steak, no parma ham, no runny eggs, no alcohol etc etc and knowing that with each contraction, I was closer to being human again.

1st labour was a mess I won't go into but with DS2 I was alert for most of it and it was a real sense of achievement to bring my little chap into the world (I didn't get that option with DS1). I'd do it all again in a heartbeat but not with the boys father

So did anyone else put their Xmas decs up this weekend or was it just me? Can't wait to take the wee chappies to see Santa tomorrow so fingers crossed it stays dry for the outdoor winter wonderland trail.

Snap pregnancy Caz. lost weight, hated being pregnant, very traumatic labour but loved it, well what I could remember of it. I remember being really excited about meeting the little person that had been in my tummy for so long. But not long enough because he was really prem but all turned out ok in the end:)

She looks lovely, I'm such a softie with dogs, trying to convince my OH that we "need" another one at the moment but he's going to take some major persuading. Think I might be able to pull it off next year when DS goes to uni though ;);)

Everytime I see that sofa it reminds me of Happy:) Right off to bed now, busy day ahead tomorrow, got a few T's to visit and a few vouchers to use;)
Have fun you lot and look after Happy!!

I've had her since she was 8 weeks old. The second week the she wouldn't eat or drink and I sat up all night every night with her feeding and watering her with little syringes. I think she's 7 now. She's cost me a fortune over the years but her companionship has been worth every penny.

You can have my sisters little !!!! I mean puppy!

    I take 5mg a day, so quite a bit more than you - I think 400ug is 0.4mg.

I am actually taking a form of chemotherapy for arthritis so the folic acid has really helped with the sickness.

Might be worth talking to your doctor about getting an increased dose?

My neighbour/friend who I help out with takes methatrexate (?) for her rhuematoid arthritis and she has to take Folic Acid too, but I didn't know it was to help with the sickness :o
