I looked at that one but couldn't decide if I liked it or not.
I bought two sets of these http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.208-5665.aspx couple of months back and only paid £6 each for them but don't know if the fact that they are a satin finish, they give the bedroom a bit of a 70's !!!!!! film look about it.....and I don't want to be giving my other half any ideas :rotfl::rotfl:
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Exactly the same as me, when I ordered it for my mum I wasnt sure about it, but when I saw it I was gutted, it's lovely. It's got little diamonte bits on it that you cant see on the chandeliers!

So Blondynurse shud be back from CUBA... Where is she?? Shes got a lot to catch up on...I think she will like the Wine Glitch.. or maybe shes going to all the Tescos on her way back from Manchester .....

Did she go on a package or did she go independently? I went independently as I read if you go to the main hotels/resort security are reluctant to let you leave for "security reasons" (unless you're going on a pre arranged tour) but the guide book stated it mainly to force you to spend your money in the resort/hotels with are majority government owned or the government gets a cut from.

I chose to stay in a B&B and although the money I was paying her a good cut was going to the Government I knew that what she got to keep was going in her pocket.

I like the idea of going walkabout rather than stuck in a hotel/resort. I hopped on a sightseeing bus of Havana and was looking out the window when I thought "ohhh, that looks like an interesting building, I'll get off at the next stop and take some pics". So I got off and walked back and walked round it taking pics then noticed all the security cameras were following me and men with guns appeared at the main doors:eek::eek::eek:

So I made a hasty retreat.

It was only the Russian Embassy I was taking pictures of.

Back to square one, no apg, no comment.
  • The meal deal apparantly doesn't work anymore, bought and they overcharged, went to customer services and they refused to honour it as head office have pulled the meal deal offer so I got the tough sh*t response. I am not happy at all, even worse when the manager came down he proceeded to ignore me and so did the sa whilst he tidies up leaflets and told the sa how lazy the delivery guy was!

Anyone have the ceo's email please?

But if the SELs are still there advertising it then you have quite clearly been overcharged regardless if it's been pulled or not.
