Meal deal still working! Unfortunately the checkout lady noticed and stopped the transaction so I said I would just leave it instead of holding up the queue more. Was looking forward to it too :(

  • Hi all,

I've been lurking on this forum for a couple of weeks now and wanted to say Hi and a huge thank you for all the glitches and grabbits you post on here. I'm hoping I'll be able to join in with some finds soon but we don't seem to have any scanners in our local stores :-(

Today I have been and got the 6 bottles of wine and finest meal deal glitch and was soooooooo happy it's put me in a really good mood! I got 4 standard size bottles, 2 mini and the finest food and with DTD I paid just over £7 for the lot (oh and that included milk and bread too!!)

They did try to fob me off with refunding and putting them through again, then JTD, here's how the conversation went...
"We'll refund these and then put them through at the right price for you"
I politely said "don't you get DTD if you are overcharged?"
He replied "we can do that if you want, we'll give you the difference which is about £9"
I said, "But what about DTD?"
"ok, we'll give you DTD and you leave the finest meal products behind"
I said, "huh?? That isn't what happened when I was overcharged on something a couple of months ago"
He then said "oh ok we'll let you have them this once!!!"

Strangely he then ran after me as I left (only a little metro) and said " sorry you were right saying you get DTD and keep the stuff"... How odd!!!!

I've also managed to pick up a few packs of the Ilooms for 8p last week and some of the 5p happy birthday bags earlier this week - it's great fun. Really want to get some of the toys but never seem able to find them. Keep forgetting to look for the DM but that's probably not a bad thing!

Does anyone have any luck getting glitches in Home stores? We have one near us but I've found nothing at all there :-(

Anyway thanks again all, it's a struggle keeping up with the thread as it moves so quickly but definitely worth it.

My OH couldnt believe it when I showed him your calendar, he didnt believe you'd get it done, but now he looks all pleased with himself for being in it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Do you mean that you actually like them?:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I have just opened a packet and thought they were disgusting:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yep I sure do, in fact my SIL usually buys a Aldi/Lidl equivalent for special occasions as all the adults in our family love them. And they are usually so expensive. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
