One paratrooper, one toy story duvet, one technika £1 dvdplayer and a huge sally doll all duly rescued from the clutches of Mr T.

Hey guys....have felt a bit down in the dumps skimming the posts over the last day or 2. When I saw the promise of a new thread, I was hoping it would be a new start and we could get back to hunting down glitches, stocking our cupboards, saving shed loads and effectively skimming Mr T's profits (not to mention the FANTASTIC banter usually occurring on this FRIENDLY?!! thread!)
I just couldn't be bothered to post last night because I'm not getting involved in the hope it will all die down and we can get on with the bargains :jCome on kids, we're all here for the same reason so we must ALL have common ground regardless of whether that's immediately apparent. Let's smile, put our efforts and enthusiasm into something productive and start having a laugh again :T
Now...moving on thank you so much to the OP regarding halloween 1p items....managed loads of bags of the Cadbury deadheads which are GORGEOUS! (Yes Czer more chocolate!! But 1p chocolate!!;)) Left tonnes on the shelf and in one store the customer service lady even told me to pick them up as they were scanning at 1p so no trouting for me yipppeeeee! That's the store I had to fight for dtd on my giftsets so I've been trying to keep a low profile, the last thing I needed was to run into the same trout again! The Shrek Witches hair and Bulging Bugs sweets are 1p too and the Little Miss scary fizzy sweets...very yum. The scanner was out of action so I couldn't check any of the other halloween items:mad: But I asked the lady on the till, as reported earlier the halloween Cadbury fingers are £1.89 still and Jaffa Cake bars 50p. There's a Dr Oetker halloween apple decorating kit SEL £2.69 scanning at 64p. Took a chance on Haribo Sour Monsters but they scanned at £1.
Had a fab shop yesterday using a £4 off £20 conditional spend and various vouchers...total £20.14 down to £3.34 and purchased with some of the moneycard I received for the dtd giftsets.
Popped into the Asda down my road, v new store and got a few whoopsies including fresh hot cornish pasties for 1p! And 1pt skimmed milk for 10p (love Asda milk whoopsies as the sell by is a week before the use by!):T
Total spend for yesterday for 6 bags of shopping and sausage and chips for my lovely Mummy = £7.58
OT .... this is what I've been browsing this morning, not MSE in the slightest but WOW!!!

Read back the last few pages of the old thread, and you'll seeI made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0

:rotfl:Have visions of MMW driving round the car park, logging reception signal strength on a chart..... next time you see somenoe parked at an odd angle, in a very strange place, then you'll know it's to maximise signal strength! :cool:The mind is like a parachute.
