No referals allowed!!:p
Speaking of referals, someone on here kindly pointed out that the Disney DVDs/Blu-rays that were going for free on DTD a couple of week ago have Disney Movie Reward points inside. I threw one away a few weeks ago because I figured I'd never own enough Disney titles to get anything. Well thanks to DTD, some DVDs my folks bought for the kids and a great deal with the Cars 2 Blu-ray (code inside to redeem for a free Cars 2 DVD), I have enough points to get a free DVD and a little bit over!
So thank you Ts for declining one of my DVD DTDs on the grounds of "the stickers are out of date and we're not allowed to remove them and I had the same problem the other day and computer said no" AKA "making things up as I go along", as it made me more determined to find them. Lo and behold but didn't another store have a stack of them (including lovely blu-rays) and didn't the kind girl on the till offer to split up the shopping for the petrol vouchers otherwise my DTD would have been a few pounds less on one transaction. And didn't the lovely non-trout on CS give me a golden receipt! Took one blu-ray back as it was a watch-once kinda film but I did keep all the rest for the kids :beer:
By the way, do people know there are 2 kind of packaging for the Chuggingtons but both scan at £1.75? They're both Brewster & his chum but there are 2 box designs. One has the trains at the bottom in an uncovered cut-out section. The other design has the trains at the top in a plastic covered cut-out and in a slightly smaller box. I have a pic if anyone needs it.0 -

:j that will motivate me even more now!TheShopaholic wrote: »Evening all, hope you are well??? It's impossible to keep up with this thread, it's soooo fast moving.
I can keep up so you need to try harder!
But when I got home discovered that my DH had smashed one of my very expensive(!) James Martin dinner plates - anyone know where I can replace it???
Tesco I presume?
If they're the ones we were getting for free on dtd some time ago I think it's worth keeping an eye on them... some denby get reduced slowly... maybe if you can spot them hide one set somewhere until they are nicely reduced? I think the GR ones are on half price at 25gbp at the moment so that also might be dtd possible when they go up to full price again?0 -
