Just trying to be fair minded here but the ignore "button" should only be used for those who are persistently directing unfair things towards an individual. At least that's the way it works on the rest of the threads on this site:cool:

AmberX: Just tell us what the problem is

Seems like the problem was locarr first and then lovecrafting oh and then FrenchKnickers!!! Dunno who will be next *runs for cover*

    Right,

I'm sorry to those of you (of which I know there are many) who are as fed up of the whole FB argument as I am. However, I owe you an explanation (according to French Knickers), something I gave on the last thread, but I can quite happily give you again.

Firstly, to those that say Ive disappeared, I actually havent. On one of my last posts on the thread, I said that if anyone had any issues, to pm me. To those that have pm'd asking about it (not about rejoining), Ive replied. I may not have done it in a timescale that has suited everyone, but then again, I have work, a child and a partner in Afghanistan, who I had not heard from in 10 days (may not sound a lot to you, trust me, it is).

Now, firstly, the attack on Lovecrafting. Some people may not have considered it an attack. As someone that has sat reading comments being made about me, i can assure you it feels like one.

Now Lovecrafting asked a question. She didnt say ' Oh we'll post it on here and not tell MSE', she asked the question. No one has copied the answer that was given. Everyones just jumped right on her. Hopefully people on here will have seen the many posts on the FB group saying 'have you put this one MSE, make sure u do'. etc. It has NEVER been about either facebook or MSE, or not from my or many other points of view anyway.

Now, the explanation. One of the admin team decided to sabotage the group and remove the majority of the members without authorisation or reason. They know who they are, and for the benefit of goodwill on the thread, I'll leave it there. However, I hope they are really proud of themselves for posting on here like nothings happened. I find it quite amusing reading their stuff, and knowing what theyre about. The one thing that has left a nasty taste is the fact that to gain your little triumph, you have wasted and spoilt not just my work (to be honest, I couldnt really care about that), but the work of everyone that contributed on here and on FB. Are you squirming? You should be, because I can out you whenever I feel like it :)

    Moving on....

One thing it taught me was that yes, I'd given the benefit of the doubt to people and should have made the group more secure (however, this replacement 'admin' with one post to their name, did you ever consider it was someone that was known personally, or an alternative fb id???). I was being slammed saying it should be an open group and exclude no one, then slammed for making it too open.

Lets not forget that I asked on the thread, before creating the group, whether it was a good idea. Of course, its only when the group was opened, that suddenly it wasnt. To be told Ive done something that needs to be forgiven, not forgotten, really??? Its a FB group, not a war crime. Ive taken a lot over the last few days and not bitten, but lets get sensible about this.

Now, to the people that have pm'd asking to rejoin, I'm sorry for not getting back to you. At the moment, whilst the arguments are still continuing, I'm not going to do anything more to aggravate the situation.

I hope that helps resolve some of your questions.

And, again, most of all, to those that are just trying to get on with the job at hand, without the bickering, I am sorry.

To all those that helped with setting the group up, thank you so much. You did amazingly and I am so sorry that it came to this

i really want to know now! it sounds so dramatic the way you've worded it....

Thanks for posting this bailey, but I would point out that 'everyone' did not jump on lovecrafting, quite the opposite in fact - two people, I believe, 'jumped' on her, and the rest jumped in to defend her

And I hope I speak for the majority, but if you want to keep referring to this 'person' who did the dirty, then please let us know who it is ...... and yes, I, for one, want to know

We all just want this thread to get back on subject, whatever that subject is ;), and help people
