Minnie-the-Minx wrote: »Without starting a big debate about morals or ethics... using Looby's example, could you buy a £17 pack of Carling that you know is £10 in A, get a JTD voucher for £7 and spend it then take the Carling back for a refund?
Would you have a problem getting the refund if the SA had marked your receipt when you spent the JTD voucher?
If you did it the other way round, could you spend a JTD voucher that had written on the receipt that you had received a refund for the item?
I don't see a problem with the first bit, actually for the second how would they know what the JTD referred to, a busy cashier may want to see the receipt for a £7 JTD presume some other shopping on there, is she going to call the supervisor for that & if she does is a supervisor going to scrutinise your receipt when people are waiting. What excuse will you give for returning it ?0 -

i tend to get some kind of airport rage in supermarkets anyway, without having raging hormones added into the mix
I'm currently working on a plan for tomorrow, by which time i should have become slightly more human again. *wonders if i can find a glitch on sanitary products*
Will keep an eye out for the bino's as well. I go up norf sometimes and there is a place where you can see for millions of miles so it would be well cool to see it with bino's too :-D)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
