    Whooooop got some turkey :j:j

Went to a store I rarely go to as was visiting a friend, had a quick trawl round - nothing of note - except the turkey still stickered at £7.50 - no sel. Only took one as this store has no scanners

Went through at £15 :j:j oh deary me!!! Off to CS, the lady couldnt have been nicer, she looked at the receipt, and said "oh dear, not so much of a bargain then, well it will be now, you'll get it for free!!!"

I just smiled and said "oh really? How lovely!":rotfl:

I emailed Walkers who have a huge majority in the UK crisp market and they replied: "...a Saturday date is always used to ensure continuity across our production faciliities. This also helps to ensure quality control, and ensure traceability across our products"

hmm ok thanks you, i thought it would be some really exiting answer but its just a production thing.

    Cheating Chilli Con Carne

    (I don't do measuring)

Pack of fresh mince (meat balls mashed up?)
    Onions
    Can of Branston Baked Beans
Can of Campbells Condensed Tomato Soup
    Chilli Powder

Fry onions, add mince & fry, add chilli powder, add beans, add soup (undiluted) simmer for a while

Delicious with a jacket potato (cooked what ever way suits you best ;) )
