Popped to my "other" local T's today in the hope of getting carrot cake! Shelf was full, SEL stated £4.00 so I took it to CS for a price check (no scanners in this store). It scanned at £4 so I asked if the offer had finished already? The SA asked me what the offer was supposed to be as they hadn't had an offer on any carrot cake? I explained that it was supposed to be reduced to £1 until 23rd and she said it must only be certain stores, definitely not that one. If I could have remembered where the offer was supposed to be advertised (I only saw it on here
), I would have argued but thought it kinder on my hips to let it go :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope no-one minds me asking, could someone briefly explain to me (or point me in the direction of a post/thread that explains) how the price check/jtd works. I've never done this but I've seen loads of you getting the vouchers and as I do my bigt weekly shop at T's, I would probably benefit from knowing how this all works. (Not to mention the fact that I'm feeling left out :rotfl::rotfl:)

Good times ♥
Today I went to Mr T & didn't get Andrex (SEL 2 4 £3.50) & Walkers
But I did get some 1p Halloween sweeties - Haribo, Thorntons skeletons, Shrek Jelly Beans, Chuppa lollies, Little Miss Scary and Chewits fangs - the SA had just filled the shelf with loads of boxes as I was going past no SEL but self scanned at 1pWent & paid then texted friends. Had to go back into store & get 10ps worth for friend. Got back to shelves & they were bare   ??? within 7 minutes the shelves had been stripped of boxes & boxes of sweets??
Spotted the culprit as I left the store - a woman with her trolley piled high with every boxOur Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...

Hi WJ - if you go to the T web site there is something called price check. You input your email addy and the transaction info (it gives an example to follow) and just sit back and wait! Thats all there is to it. When T's are on the ball the voucher comes back the day after BUT can take a few days sometimes. HTH.:beer:0 -
Just been out on a money-free shop. 16 free rolls of Andrex, free lip gloss from Boots, and free xmas cards from BHS!
I got my Andrex from an Express store. They said that DTD has been stopped, and now they refund the amount paid, and give me the product. On the Andrex I think this worked out the same anyway. They refunded me my £7 and gave my the 4 x 4 packs.0 -
