  • A friend of mine is having therapy at the moment and mentioned to the therapist that one of her problems is feeling tired all the time and spending all night looking at the clock thinking about how recent it was that she last woke and looked at the clock and also counting down the time until she has to get up.

The therapist suggested she turn the clock away from her so she couldn't see the time. Sounds like such a simple thing but it is really helping. She still wakes a lot but when she does she just lies there all cosy and relaxed instead of getting angry and agitated that she is awake yet again.

I know some of you have proper sleep disorders so this probably won't help much but you never know, might be worth a try.

    Morning all

Just checking in after having a fantastic weekend away in Camden with my OH and a couple of friends. I can't believe we are on a new thread again!! how fast?? and also 50 odd pages in.

Can anyone tell me PLEASE if there is anything i have missed as i won't have a hope in hell of catching up on all those pages. I don't mean to be lazy just have loads to catch up on at home.

To be honest it was great not having access to my Lappy - me and OH just so needed some US time and this weekend ticked all the boxes.

    TIA xxx

good morning fellow CFS sufferer!! mine isn't as bad as yours, but i can sleep for 10 hours and then nap 2 hours later and then some. sleep does nothing for me and i often wonder whether it's worth even going to sleep sometimes as it never feels like i have had any!

mine is caused by Cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure.

Anyhoo, off to T's later. got some of those 70% off coupons for the Royal Worcester so picking up some £3.99 glasses for the ex mum in law
I currently sleep for 16-19hours per day and have done for 3 years thats why they are talking about admitting me. Fortunately my kids are 13 and 11 and help out loads I don't know how you manage with younger children. Mine was caused by working long hours and not taking time off when I had infections.

Believe it or not going to T's each day is part of my health plan set by occupational health:D
Hope everyone has a good day!

For anyone going to Stockton extra I've had a look for the 20p Technica camera cases while I was there for shopping but couldn't find any. Not even an empty rack. As I really don't have an urgent need for one of these (even if they are 20p!) I didn't go and check out Billingham which I might normally do if I'm in the mood.
    Awaiting a new sig

    I have a question

If you got dtd on an item and it came up on price check with a good result like foxes biscuits is there anything to say you can't use it?

I've used my voucher with no problems. As far as I'm aware of there's nothing in the t&c's...although must admit I've not actually read them. Here's the link - https://www.tescopricecheck.com/terms
