I've been offered a £25 membership for costco. The website doesn't give a lot away. Do people on here think it is worth it?
The nearest costco is about 10 miles from my wife's work, but you can include a spouse for no extra cost.

You should go and visit. I save way more than the £25 fee each year (easily save that per month in fact) but there's no point joining if you're not able to buy in bulk or don't use the things they sell.
You can get a free day pass that lets you browse but not buy.Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.

I buy loo rolls (80 at a time!), eggs, meat, coffee beans, batteries, stamps, cheese, cooked chickens, fish, contact lenses, helium (for balloons), vitamins, razors.........Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.

Go visit and ask for a visitors pass before you join. You can't buy anything on it but you can have a good look round.0

I want to join but I have no space to put any of the stuff I'd buy. I've heard it's better value for bulk buying etcYou'll have to speak up; I'm wearing a towel0

We have been joined for 2 years now and never regretted
it yet. Most months of the year you get voucher books
through, that have different values off items including meat.
We always buy costco chicken fillets 2.2kg no added salt/water
and divide up into portions to freeze. We also do the same
with mince etc. The cafe is excellent too- very good value.0 -
It's worth it for things like toilet paper and kitchen roll, which we bulk buy. I have free membership, but if I had to pay the fee I wouldn't hesitate. Members also get booklets full of coupons, which sometimes have incredible deals, and when they're trying to clear stock prices go way down. A while ago they were selling those 750g jars of Nutella for a little under £2, so we stocked up (Nutella is very popular in our house). It's also worth browsing the store for the free samples, and IMO their bakery products are better than anything in the supermarkets. A tray of 12 giant muffins the size of grapefruits costs about £4 - freeze them and they last for ages.0

CostCo is good for the offers in the leaflets. You can get some bargains compared to the supermarkets. However, be careful, so groceries work out to be more expensive.0

i used to have a costcos card but i gave it up. after petrol costs or train costs and then membership fee, i found i was only saving about £20 a year and then i was hardly using it and buying stuff i didnt need cose it was a good price and throwing away 1/3 of the stuff cose it was soooooo out of date. best thing to do is to go and look about then add up all your expens for the year. then see if its worth it.
yes the muffins are big and the bakery is like heaven and the meat is good meat and the toilet rolls are cheep but sometimes you can find good deals about in asda, tesco, co-op etc if you look and get them at the right time.0
