OK - word on the inside is that Nike have had a big meeting to sort this whole situation out. They are not happy with what is going on with ebay etc so, from next week they are going to completly flood the market (and you thought it was flooded now?!) . EVERY sports shop across the UK will have the bands in stock, probably with a limit of 3 or so each. The Manchester United megastore will be getting around 60,000 odd in. In other words, no one will be wanting to pay more than the retail value of £1.50 for much longer. Clever move by Nike me thinks.

This is so annoying. My son wants an anti-racism wristband, he's all fired up by the work they did at school on Black History month. I thought it was a sweet idea and I was happy to pay money to a charity to get him one of these.

Now I find that I have to trudge round shops in hope of finding one before some !!!!!! buys them by the tonne and flogs them for a profit. I'm d***ed if I'm going to pay one penny to some dodgy Del Boy on ebay!

Frankly if I can't buy one at an honest price I'll donate some money directly to a charity and explain to him that the wristbands are no longer available.

We have a charity we subscribe to, I'll approach them to see if they have wristbands available because at least then I'll know where the money is going.
