I registered a brand new genie sim (300 texts a month) and that was a couple of days ago - I've left it in an old phone turned on, but I havent recieved the confirmation text yet.
Is this to do with me not having put any credit on it?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers everyone, have a good weekend.

Hmmm, I just got my £2.50 credit today. But when I was checking through my old mail, I found that I had already registered my card when I first got it

Not that I am complaining
I am :j 4 Joy!! I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!I thunk I've made you think for a minute!:j :rotfl: :j0 -
Question - do the sim cards have to be 'activated' ( by putting on £10 ) before i can do this?0
-
Answer ( to my own question ) - you dont have o register first. you can take a brand new sim ( one of the o2 free ones !) and get a £2.50 top up and it works. T&C state that you must be in credit to receive £2.50.. not the case in practice.0
