Winner to collect to Bike from Specialized UK, in Chessington Surrey or couriered at winners expense.
La Fuga's Prize is for a scheduled Cycling Academy, single occupancy basis.
The Prize is non-refundable, non-exchangable
La Fuga reserve the right to refuse participation if there is a significant risk to the participant or to 3rd parties.
Excludes flights. Flights to be purchased by the participant with recommended flight details provided by La Fuga.
Participant must purchase travel and bicycle insurance cover. La Fuga accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage to any items or personal effects belonging to the participant or cancellation of travel
The competition is open to UK and Ireland residents aged 18 and over excluding employees of Specialized and participating dealers or any other associated parties.
All correct entries to the competition will be automatically entered into a prize draw.
The competition runs from 14th November 2011, until midnight 31st December 2011 with the winner being drawn at random in early January 2012.
Specialized, La Fuga & Garmin shall not be held responsible for technical errors in telecommunication networks, internet access or otherwise, preventing entry at this website.
Only one entry per person.
1 prize winner only.
The winner will be the first correct entry drawn at random from all entries received by the end of the competition. The results are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner will be notified the week of 3rd January 2012 by e mail or telephone.
The prize is a Specialized to offer a Secteur Elite 2012 bicycle RRP £1,000, LA FUGA - A week in Mallorca on La Fuga's Spring Cycling Academy. RRP £895 (excludes flights), Garmin to offer a Edge 500 (black & red) RRP £280
Specialized reserves the right to award an alternative prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize become unavailable for any reason.
The winner may be required to participate in future publicity for Specialized, La Fuga, Garmin.
Specialized reserves the right to select an alternative winner should the drawn entry prove invalid for any reason.
The prize is as stated and no cash alternative is available.
The winner’s name will be available from the Specialized office from the10th January 2012. Please write to us at Specialized UK Ltd, Get out and ride in 2012, 29 Barwell Business Park, Leatherhead Road, Chessington, Surrey KT9 2NY to request the winner’s name.

Well the other 2 options for the answer were a BMX or a penny farthing! Fairly sure that they can be ruled out!

As you have to collect bike t=yourself, AND pay for flights,

you might as well just get own holiday package deal, and rent a bike while there..?

Not true.

A grand of bike (very light indeed ..mine isn't quite as good but almost identical to this but I'd pay the courier no problem as this is lighter most likely) is worth the effort IMO. You can also carry a bike on the choochoo free if you choose to visit them, which I think I would.
I'm not sure I'd go on the trip and I'd defo not go if I wasn't a decent cyclist as it's going to be hard work for such a human, but I've never heard of people being forced to travel and have dumped parts of prizes which weren't wanted myself in the past with no problem.
