How do you decide to buy your clothes?
    1. Do you look around George/Primark/M&S/Debenhams etc every week and if you see something you like do you buy it?I often look around M&S Not really into Asda or Primark. Do love to go and have a browse though.
    2. Do do you go shopping specifically with the intention of getting a particular thing? If I have a special party to go to I might. Although I bought two lovely dresses last year that I hope still fit as I have lost weight :T
    3. How much of your clothes shopping is done online? Some. I'm waiting for a pair of ankle boots to come. Bought a pair of Hush Puppy boots last year and wear them a lot. The ones I'm waiting for are the same brand, so hoping I love them as much.
    4. What is your best value item? Not necessarily the cheapest costing item, but the item that you wear most often that is still going strong, therefore is the cheapest per wear.Bought two pairs of shoes about nine years ago. Saw a black pump style with a small wedge, about an inch high. Loved them so much I got them in brown too. They cost about £35 each, an absolute fortune for me then, (and now) but I still wear them now and they look great with skirts and funky tights.
    5. How much does the item's fashionability/must have come into your decision making? I'd like to say not a lot. But if that were true I would be wearing the same old clothes untill they fell apart.

Must resist the urge to go shopping today now!!

    1. I wander around Tesco / Asda when I'm in there - browsing, not always buying, I go to Matalan for undies when nearby, and browse M&S, TK Maxx, Debenhams etc when I'm in town or out with my best friend.
    2. I also go out with an item in mind eg dress for Christmas do's / shoes / work tops etc
    3. Very little unless it's on Ebay
    4. A beige lambswool cardi from Gap, assorted long sleeved t-shirts from Primark and a pair of donkey-brown flat leather knee boots from Tesco (via Ebay)
    5. I tend to work out if something will suit first, then consider it's "fashionability" when fitting in with the rest of my wardrobe

    1. Do you look around George/Primark/M&S/Debenhams etc every week and if you see something you like do you buy it? I will occassionally go out shopping with the intent of finding something nice. But this is rare because at size 24 I find clothes shopping very depressing.
    2. Do do you go shopping specifically with the intention of getting a particular thing? Most of the time I've gone shopping as I need something particular. It's very rare for me to just go shopping.
    3. How much of your clothes shopping is done online? About half is online.
    4. What is your best value item? Not necessarily the cheapest costing item, but the item that you wear most often that is still going strong, therefore is the cheapest per wear. No idea really.
    5. How much does the item's fashionability/must have come into your decision making? Very, very little. My main consideration is does it fit. I have a lot of clothes that I wear because they fit and not because I like them.

    1. Nope. Not keen on shopping. I used to shop for clothes online but had such bad luck with it (clothes not fitting, damaged, wrong item sent etc). I gave up. Now I only shop online at New Look where I know my size and can collect from store, or I buy clothes on a rare shopping trip with my mum or best friend (as they DO enjoy shopping!)
    2. Sometimes I see something I like online and force myself out, or I identify a gap in my wardrobe. I go straight to the shop, find what I want, try it on and buy it if I like it. I rarely find stuff I like just wandering aimlessly.
    3. Not much these days. It's pretty money saving actually as I refuse to shop online and I rarely feel brave enough to shop in real life!
    4. Years ago I took a chance and bought a pair of jeans from an online shop. Think they were about £30 which was perfectly reasonable. They are the best fitting jeans I've ever owned, and they still look great. Just as well as the shop no longer sells jeans!
    5. Pretty much zero. I'm not into fashion at all. If there's something fashionable I like, however, I will try to buy it whilst it's fashionable, simply because it's widely available.
This post has made me sound quite sensible but in reality I have loads of clothes, many barely worn, and I bought loads of stuff I went off, didn't fit right, or didn't go with my other clothes. Now I hardly shop, and if I do want something I leave it as long as possible before getting it- that way I'm sure that I really do want it and it's not just an impulse buy.

    1) It depends. When I've got money I might do.. if I see something I like I will buy it. Having said that I'm a terrible impulse buyer... the local charity shop and my best mate (who is the same size) get an awful lot of brand new stuff still with tags on from me... way too often :p
    2) Sometimes - however it gets me very stressed! I went to London to try and find a dress for my rugby awards do earlier this year and couldnt find one for love nor money... If I know I HAVE to find something on that one trip I tend to get v.stressed about it.
    3) I only buy the odd thing online. I can rarely be bothered with the hassle of sending stuff back so I dont tend to bother.
    4) I would say probably a black and pink tracksuit I bought in Matalan last year. I paid about £25 for it but I wear it almost religiously (and have done since I bought it) to the rugby. I dont tend to keep things for a long time, I tend to get rid of them after a year or so unless I wear it a lot.
    5) It doesnt really (except if it's a Lipsy handbag. I am slightly obsessed with them :D)
