How do you get a day off(from cooking)

  • I tend to say "I'm not doing lunch, fend for yourselves"....and the kids leap into action, knowing that "anything goes" for this meal. Potato waffles and toast, anyone? They love it!

But really......DH used ot be a chef and up until recently did all the cooking, so the novelty hasn't worn off for me yet. The children have been learning to cook for ever, and can now do pretty much anything, sometimes with verbal hints (DS - you might like to turn the sausages over now while I turn the smoke alarm off ;) )
