hello....never been in the compers inn before .....whats good here?

Feel like I can breathe again after the manic effort that was advents....and I didnt even do that many! Going to try and get through all pages today just to check not missing anything exciting. Got some make up from boots this morning from the competition that I didnt win but they told me I did lol. DD claimed the mascara already.

The baby shower was organsied by Charis, about a dozen southern compers came to my home town and we all went for a meal!!! and bless the table was all decorated with baby bunting and sparkles (which ended up in my handbag?!!?!?) I was meant to go to a Southampton compers meet but wasn't up to it, so Charis made sure I didn't miss out! I'm still overawed at the genorisity, I was given a travel system for baby, which included the pram,car seat,footmuff,raincover,cosy toes etc, a travel cot, feeding pillow, clothes, toys, cupcakes etc, totally spoilt! xxx

I'm still shocked i'm pregnant so thinking a baby will be here soon blows my mind, thanks for nice words n stuff, I can't sit still or concentrate on anything anymore! xxxxxx

Sound great toniq! It is wonderful to have a little girl - mine will be 14 in May and claiming all the make-up I win just like angelflower's DD. Wishing you all the best and looking forward to seeing the pics when she arrives. x

Do you (generic all of you!) mind if I just jump in here too? I've made it my NY resolution to be more active here! I finally managed to find a couple of competitions to post last night which I don't think are covered by any of the "regulars" here - took me 1.5 hours to find them, don't know how all of you manage to find so many (I sign up for tons of emails, but the competitions in them are usually posted by others - it's hard to find new ones!).

We're having a lazy day here - the kids are enjoying their last couple of days off before they go back to school (hurrah!).

Hi Bonnie,

Welcome! It is really difficult to find new comps - I don't find many either but sometimes you can help with finding answers and things like that. Everyone knows it is difficult to find new comps so don't worry about it. My kids went back on Thursday which was lovely and they are both out today! DS works assisting chefs on a Saturday and sometimes washing dishes at night and then he sleeps all Sunday so he isn't much bother at the weekends! DD is constantly looking for things to do though.
Have you been entering the flower comp? Loads of peeps seem to be winning (including me). Flowers are such a lovely prize.
