Morning all,

I have been up comping since 6am but DH has just woken (made me a cuppa) and kids still sleeping. Poor DD is full of the cold and has a really bad cough but I will need to waken DS soon as he is working at hotel all day today. Had a text just before midnight to say DS1 got back to Bermuda ok so hope he gets plenty of sleep as he has loads of parties to go to.
Postman was here at 8.30am! he brought another Tassimo mug (they are really nice) and a glittery eyeliner from Collection2000, think thats more for DD. Hope everyone has exciting plans for tonight - we don't! A'h well new comping year starts tomorrow - looking forward to it but not doing any challenges.

Hi all

I had a day off from comping yesterday :eek::eek:

Mr M & I went and did a bit of shopping then went to Asda cafe for lunch (not so good, won't be going there again :rotfl:), then I spent the afternoon playing the Lego Pirates of the Caribbean game my Brother got me for Christmas :T:T

Mr M went out last night so I watched my soaps & had a takeaway and was in bed by 10 :rotfl::rotfl: Heard Mr M come in and drunkedly talking to Rude Boy at 3.30 :eek: He's still asleep now so peace and quiet for me

He wants me to go into town tonight, I can't imagine anything worse than going into town on NYE, I don't go out ever except to Bingo :rotfl: so not looking forward to it, will see what he says when he gets out of bed I'd be much happier sat in with my Blue WKD watching Alan Carr on the telly and going outside at midnight to see other peoples fireworks going off :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Postals this morning (haven't had time to do ANY in December so lots to catch up on but loads I'll have missed) and need to get this weeks Real People posted up too. Have a nice day all and if I don't have time to pop back in the HAPPY NEW YEAR!! and wishing you all a lucky 2012 :beer: xxx

Hi every one back again after a few weeks of, since then i had my baby boy called sidney hes now 14 weeks , i missed here and my comp wins had a couple over the last few weeks but have to come back i missing my wins lol. Hope every one had a gd xmas jem xx

No wish to go out on NYE either Melvis! :eek: Have to go to parents on NY Day but thats all we do.

Congrats chickflick - you would have a lovely Xmas with your new baby! Wishing you luck with the comps.

Bucketing down here now and I need some shopping so will need to brave the shops.

Melvis I'm the same as you, can't be bothered going out now new yr we got house broke into one new yr so it put me off going out. Anyway hubby working till 8 then I will predict he'll fall asleep on the sofa so me & kids will have tea party and a karaoke. I might have a couple of bottles of breezers or wine.

Can I just ask those who've entered the 'funnyhowflowersdo that' comp, how long does it take for your picture to go live? I've enetered three pictures for 3 different days on Thursday and Friday, and received emails saying thanks for your entry, but none of them are showing on the site and I haven't had a further email to say they've gone live.

Its normally the same day but they don't seem to be doing anything just now - think they must have gone on holiday.

Minty it really does vary with them. Sometimes they are really quick to upload them and other times takes ages.

Finished work 15 minutes late but back at mother in laws now. I have been on kiosk all shift and it has been bedlam... Annoys me cos they sent some people home early on and we could have done with them to stay.
