Complete opposite for me Jane, I'm nearly caught up now. Christmas is the perfect time for me to catch up as I get a few days off work and no family to spend time with except for a couple of hours for Christmas day dinner :)

    morning everyone

I never did manage many advents and I'm way behind on all the rest but I've had a great time enjoying everything.

Did the sales yesterday and the amount of people was almost frightning  I was doing the holding coats and bags bit outside the changing rooms and heard this coat calling my name and telling me how gorgeous it would look on me. Got the best bargain of the day !

I've got a day to myself today. Going to have a little clear up and then settle down with my lappy and get some comps entered -bliss.

So as always - be lucky everyone :)

    Morning everyone
Is it a normal day today....I'm sat here waiting for postie! :p hubby is still in bed and kids just watching tv in their pj's, so much for us venturing out!

Only advent win I had Sheils was on tombola. Would be nice to get a win from the sun! :D

You're brave cezzy challenging the sales! I hate looking in the sales in store, would rather order online :o too busy for me I get too stressed.

Hope your day goes quickly at work Becks ;)

Have a great day everyone whatever you're doing!

ETA.... Postie brought The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo book from freebies :j off to thank OP :)

Anyone got a good cure for earache? My ear feels like its full and needs to pop. Doing my head in :D

Been reading the 2012 challenge thread. Dont think i will be doing a challenge as such. I am happy with whatever wins come along without trying to get specific things :D

When i go back off my break I will only have just over 4 hours til home time. Glad I am off tomorrow :D

Cure for earache, heat a little oil (can be vegetable or olive oil) pour a little into your ear (be careful do not have it too hot!). Place a bit of cotton wool at edge of ear. If you can tip your head so oil doesn't run out. After 5 or 10 minutes remove cotton wool and see if the oil has softened any wax. Another alternative is hold a hot water bottle to your ear (wrap the water bottle in a towel etc) and this should ease the pain.
    Hopes this helps.

Once you've put the oil in, if you gently pull your back and forwards it helps the oil to work its way down (doctor told me that the last time that I had to do it). Hope it feels better soon, there's nothing worse than earache.
