Here is my poem that has gone with all the presents and hampers this year around the country from me.

Preparing for Christmas has been fun,
As most of your presents have been won,
As you have opened them, you will see,
That lady luck has shined on me.

Sharing them out has not been easy,
So I apologise if your gift was cheesy!
Now to tell you who got what,
You'll see that I've won quite a lot!

For SIL a gift of Soap and Glory,
To wake her up if she is feeling snorey.
For DB a chalice for his beer,
To keep him full of festive cheer.

But oh the lack of gifts for teenage boys,
They would not be happy with silly toys.
So our gift to nephew it must be cash,
To add to his ever growing stash!

Nephew's present it does come from a prize,
For I had the most wonderful surprise.
Completing a Sudoku puzzle for fun,
Meant £750 was won!!!

For Dad a book all about trains,
With pictures of branchlines as well as mains.
For Stepmum a luxury gift of smellies,
It was either that or wellies!

For Mum a DVD to watch and replay,
The Corrie Tram crash a year ago today?
For Stepdad another chalice I picks,
To be honest I have won six!!!

I hope your crackers are lucky for you,
But if not don't be blue!
Oh, and if your scratch card was a winner,
Please remember to share it with the giver!


:DEach year I always send everyone a cracker containing a £1 scratch card.

Hope all is well,I am fine,went to my parents for lunch today.Throat is easing fine

I got home and I wrapped all the christmas presents,had 8 to wrap and it was fun to do gave each family a pretend cheque :rotfl: cant wait to see their faces tomorrow when They see them.

Really strange phone call!!

phone rings, so I answer it and some guy says "oh hello is that the marriage guidance centre"

"er, no" I reply,

"oh, who are you then?" he asks

"obviously not who you are looking for" I answer!!

phone goes dead:rotfl:.

Why do I attract all the nutters!!!!:o

Really hope if they genuinely need help that they find it on Christmas Eve.

Hi all

Went to my friends house last night to help her with wrapping, she buys soooooo much and never manages to wrap it all :rotfl::rotfl:then we had a cheeky Christmas buffet and far too much to drink and we had work at 8 this morning :eek: but we only had to work 4.5 hours and got paid for the full day :T:T

I've just wrapped the last of the pressies for my nephews tomorrow, I've got them far too much, Mr M will go mad when they open them :eek: :rotfl::rotfl:

Mr M has gone out to the pub, I'm keeping a fresh head for tomorrow then can get as drunk as I like after my dinner

Went out to deliver pressies to Mr M's family today then did the last of my shopping for Christmas provisions - seeing the people in Asda you'd think they were shutting for longer than 2 days :eek::eek: I just got bread and party sausage rolls for the boxing day buffet but people had trolley fulls!

I've been dashing round tidying up, I'm not sure why - we've never had a visitor on Xmas day EVER!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Have a super Christmas my lovely Compers and all the luck in the world for 2012 :beer:

P.S Wingo - as expected no lovely prize from Tombola, I was 1 away from £10, £1 away from £20, 1 away from £50, 1 away from £100, 1 away from £500, 1 away from £1000 TWICE and 1 away from £5000!! What a waste of 24 days :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Evil Tombola!! xx

Hi all,

I was at the supermarket too Melvis and bought 3 pizzas!!! :rotfl: We have been eating up all the leftovers from last nights buffet so didn't need much. DS2 has everything under control for tomorrows meal.( It will be really odd not cooking ) Sitting with my coffee and Baileys sample now.
Older two boys away to the pub and other one out with his mates. DD has a friend round and they are making each other even more hyper than they were before.
All presents are now wrapped.
Hope everyone is organised and looking forward to tomorrow. x
