More on the Easter gifts front.... pastel coffee/tea mugs decorated with chicks and bunnies, pink/green/blue, quite a nice design with a 'Happy Easter' band across it.... and a cute soft toy inside the (large) mug: either a sunny yellow chick, with a pink ribbon, orange beak and a tuft of white hair on top of his head, or a white bunny with pink ears, blue ribbon. Both very cute!
And the price.... 99p for TWO.
Amazing! I'm going to rip off the (slightly tacky) cardboard packaging, add a small sachet of home-cooked Easter biscuits for each toy to hold in its arms, and wrap them in sellophane -to make a very presentable bargain Easter present!0 -

Oh dear, is my Home Bargains habit showing....:o
It's just ridiculous what you can get in there!
I've picked up a 'Status' plug-in automatic safety LED night light - the sort with the glass top which illuminates? I Googled and they're about £5, even on Ebay. Home Bargains price..... 39p.
Also: an Accessory Agents AV switch 3. This connects up to 3 pieces of audio visual equipment through one SCART socket on your TV. A similar brand piece of equipment, exactly the same shape and design, is £14.99 elsewhere... I paid £1.99.
If they ever close down, I'll go into mourning......;)0 -
