Hi all,
This is just some feedback on my experience with the above. (I looked at the sell your gold thread but it seems to have been taken over my fake one posters!)
Anyway I found the name Hatton Garden metals after searching on this site and I was really looking for somewhere to sell silver. (some jewellery from my ex that was never going to be worn again!) and everywhere seems to be about gold.
I thought about selling it on ebay but wanted it done quickly and also there is so much silver jewellery I thought mine had no chance!
So I went online, weighed my stuff (160g) and sent it in my own envelope recorded delivery. cost me £1.20. They advised me on the online quote I would get £70 but (I wanted an instant bank transfer so gave them my bank details, but u can also get a cheque etc).
So I sent it on the 15th.... they received it the next day... 16th (yesterday!) and I had an email from them saying that had received it and the tru value was £78.53 :j) and I checked my bank as normal and the money was already in there!!!!!!
So in 2 days I had sold my silver and received the money! :T:T
Just thought it would be good to give some real feedback. A better option then payday loans if you have some spare jewellery floating about. I know the jewellery cost about 3x as much but I guess for me it was also about getting rid of the emotional attachement.
I am a happy bunny! £78 within 48 hours and it saved me from going into my overdraft!!!!!! :A (also I got more then what was quoted for by tescos who else buy silver!)
