the end crusts of bread..... any ideas ?

i might be starting to work as a cook in a nursing home.. went there this week end just to see if its for me... as i have never worked in that type of enviroment before.....
i will be offically going for the interview tomorrow lol....
but i thought rather than start and find its not for me..... anyway..... the ends of the sliced loafs they have are allways thrown away.....
apart from using them for hm stuffing...... any other ideas what they could be used for....?
plus now that i am down to one chicken as my charlie drake (duck) passed away this week,...... i will now need to use all my bread in the house as well
