Be wary Stompa I think, are 6ft6 long! not the usual 6ft3.

Scallywag are very nice indeed and very robust.

Sorry don't have any dealings with M&S beds.

It's the old saying you get what you pay for. £99 min spend on the mattresses I suggest.

Yeah, its a bit of a pain getting longer sheets made just for European beds I'm guessing. The shop sold Stompa sheets for £30! Although apparently some people just leave a 3 inch gap with no problems, using a normal single mattress.

The only issue now is height and ladders. The Scallywag ladder is so much better, more like stairs, but it is also very tall....shame you can't get a sloped, proper staired ladder for the Stompa.

Whoever thought that buying a bunk bed would be so complicated! :o

So considering the 1st question, you may well wonder why we've got a four poster bed now..... :o The answer is, EBAY! It was only £75 and gorgeous. I'm going to build a trundle bed underneath for the little bro. We've got some pocket sprung mattresses coming as well.

Thanks all, I saw the light after your posts and decided to get the frame 2nd hand and spend more on mattresses.
