Grrrr...Tescos value pasta sauce! No longer value!

Hi guys!

Ive been lurking for a while but decided to post after visiting my local tesco today and finding my recession friendly value pasta sauce 18p a jar has gone up to a whopping 38p a jar!!! Outrageous! I ran into Morrisons to get it at 18p a jar which is a pain but I couldnt bring myself to pay Tescos increase!

This happened with their baby wipes as well. One week they were 19p and next they were 39p. I was livid. But all the majors have upped their prices of wipes.

Which is not what you were talking about so will shut up. As you were gentlemen :)

Umm so tomato sauce folks. ..... I use mine as a pizza base instead of tomato pur!e but I always get the mid value one cos they had the spicy version in that

  • I got ONE of these for 18p just to try it ... won't be bothering again even if its nice unless they put the price back down again!!!

  • I've got two in the cupboard but won't be getting any more for that price - they aren't nice enough and need tarting up so I think I will just pay the bit extra and get Aldi's which needs nothing adding to be nice!!
