I'm trying to clear up my credit profile and was wondering, when you've cleared an account, is it better to keep it open with a zero balance or close it down? Which one would make your credit profile look better, or doesn't it matter?

I THINK it's better to close it down so you don't have random unused credit. I've heard what is good for credit is to make regular payments to accounts to show that you are trustworthy/reliable rather than no payments whatsoever.Savings target: £25000/£25000
