How do you convert the Tesco Vouchers to MFI ones?

Dear MSE's

Can someone please help me.
I have some Tesco clubcard vouchers and I've seen something I like in MFI. I'd like to use the Tesco vouchers as they give better value.

What should I do next?
Do I tell MFI I want to pay with Tesco vouchers?
Do I need to change the Teco vouchers into MFI ones? if then, how long do they take?

All advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks in advance

  • if you register on the tesco website you can do it but you have to spend a minimum of £200 in mfi, and they were finishing that offer soon too so check online to see if mfi is still an option.

Once you have converted them they take less than a week to arrive.

Thanks. When do they send the next set of vouhers?
  • Dont tell MFI you want to pay in Tesco vouchers untill you have beaten them down on delv, extended warrantee, price and anything else you can get out of them. They can be very flexible when the mood takes them.
They will only take a max of 15 vouchers. I have always recived my MFI vouchers within a week in denominations of £100. I guess this depends on how much you are exchaning.
Remember MFI will not give you change and despite what they tell you they can be used to offset delivery charge.

    Hi Thanks for the e-mail.

I have about 35 club card vouchers worth £350. When I convert them into MFI ones (hopefully worth closer to £1400) can I ask them to convert them into larger amounts so they come to less than 15 vouchers?

  • I've just bought some bedroom furniture - Tesco send you vouchers in the largest denominations they can so you should be OK. I was up front with the vouchers y'day and told the guy what our budget was roughly ( knocked £100 off) and asked him what could they do. Current offer is VAT free but they can obviously move a little. I asked for extra shelves for all the wardrobes and he threw those in for free without me asking, then I said , look is that really the best you can do - I really want to buy these today - and he went away and then knocked off another 5%.

Just be freindly and smile - they know the offer for Tesco vouchers is ending so they want to get as much business as possible - apparently my local MFI would have no business without Tesco!

My mum offered to give her vouchers to help us buy the sofa. Do you think it would be a problem? I know their terms says no, but do you think they would be flexible? I could take my mum with the vochers and some ID?
