vegatarian jelly

i want to make a triffle for my daughter in law,but she is a vegi,were can i get a vegi jelly?they only seem to be in crystals?

The birds trifle mix is suitable for vegi's. Does it matter if they are crystals it still makes up to jelly?

I use them regular and they set fine, never had a problem with them.

I use the crystals from Holland & Barrett; I get a better result if I'm a bit stingy with the amount of water I add to the crystals; the packet says a pint, but I use 18 fluid ounces; and give it a really good stir to make sure all the crystals dissolve.

Rowntrees QuickSet jelly is veggie and available in supermarkets. Their ready made jelly is also veggie, so you could buy some of those and have a sort of 'chopped' jelly layer instead.
