ive just applied for a loan and been turned down.I have a good credit score. How soon can i apply for another one else where? jr

Whenever you like, but only try twice, after that your credit file is being hit (not that it makes too much difference if they are all rejecting you anyway!).

Try your own bank, you will stand more of a chance with them (they already know how you handle money).

You can apply whenever you want - although most lenders suggest leaving it a few months before you apply to the same place.

But really no point in just applying elsewhere without trying to work out why you were declined. Your credit score is not really much use, whilst your credit history is one factor a lender will take into account there are many other factors which be even more important when they decide whether or not to accept you.

If you could give some more info people might be able to advise as to why you might have been declined and if its worth applying elsewhere (eg how much you applied for? which lender? what for? what other debts do you have? how much do you earn? etc etc).

The more applications you make fella, the less likely you are to be accepted.......

Your own bank is your best bet in this situation, if it's them that turned you down, most other lenders will run a mile.
