Hi Everyone
So embarrassed this is my first post on the thread. I have been reading your updates regularly and it has been so motivating to hear all your successes :A . Finally, I am going to add my own.
I am 26 on the list - my original aim was to pay off my John Lewis Credit Card debt of £4074 but then NatWest raised the interest rate on my other Credit Card and I decided to prioritse that one.
So, I have paid off £2658 and have only £210.84 to pay. I did manage to get the John Lewis card down to £3427 too - and that is going to be my challenge for next yearIt did actually reach £5915 when I had to buy a car and pay a vets bill in a rather exciting period of time, so I am really pleased with that result.
NatWest have just raised the interest rate again so I am going to call them and close my account and have one less albatross around my neckSealed Pot Challenge 5 - #14750 -
I haven't been keeping this thread updated, but I made my last payment of £102.22 today. There will no doubt be a small amount of residual interest to pay, but at the moment at least, the balance is showing £0.00 :jDebt free since December 2015. It can be done0

Doubt I'll reach my target now my Natwest Credit Card was around £850, it's only at £395 now! And now I've been offered a new 0% deal on it, so it's now going to be £1100 more from my other card.
I'm still trying to pay the £395 off though, and hopefully if I get my tax refund this side of the year I'll be able to!0 -

Hi Sharon87
This is what happened to me - i called to cancel mine last week and recieved the same offer so it has put me back on track paying off my other CC now that less of the monthly overpayment is taken up in interest.
I decided I am going to save like Billyo to clear it all off by the end of the dealSealed Pot Challenge 5 - #14750
