    Hi everyone.

Freebyfifty - good to see you are still making progress. Below £600 now. Well done.
    Moam - Hi :hello:
Well my money saved towards my debt had to go to my youngest sons wardrobe. He's grown out of everything:eek::eek:

Feeling miserable because I've made no extra progress for 2 months so decided to pay $10 today. Monthly payment due in 2 days too.

    #72 Jackywhizz ~ DVC $1344.34/$4091.72

leaving $2747.38. Unless I get to grips with this I won't have it finished in 2012. Currently if I make just the monthly payments I will finish it in Feb 13. This is well before its scheduled finish date of Dec 2018 but I just want it cleared now I am so close. Must try harder:o

    Evening all

Have just realised I haven't updated in far too long.

#75 declaring 498.80 paid leaving 1200.77. Hoping I may get this paid before my November deadline.

    Thanks

I have to agree, freebyfifty, you are doing fantastic. You are so focused and disciplined. You are an inspiration. I just wish I could do as well as you. For my part, I have been making small in-roads to my Evans account. I have increased my direct debit amount, from 13 quid, to 20 quid. I know it's not much, but it's something at least. I am saving in the 2 quid challenge. I was saving to pay debts and planned to keep saving until the end of the year before opening my tin. But I was wondering if that was a good idea. I mean, while the money is in my money box, it's not doing anything. I was thinking that maybe I should pay every 20 quid I save into the evans account. So far I have saved 62 quid in the 2 quid savers club. What do you think?

Thank you :o I have to say that I am not quite the angel you make me out to be as I still have loads and loads of debt still to get rid of :o I am just working on one at a time.
Every single penny counts towards paying the debts off and that £7 extra you are paying will make a difference. What I would say though is that you have to make every spare penny work for you so if you are paying interest on your Evans account it makes more sense to pay it off as quickly as you can. I would pay my £2 coin savings to them and get it gone as soon as I could, but that's just me, maybe you feel comfortable having that little cushion to fall back on.
Let us know what you decide :)
