http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?257616-Win-A-Gaming-PC-on-Facebook Post number 1 is from the 'owner' of the company/comperition and number 24 says there going to give away 10 pcs? Thanks to the people who have posted competitions, good luck to everyone, and well done to the winners!:beer:0

oh dear wouldn't expect much from this guy. Took me 5 minutes to discover that the owner also owns an 'independent' reviews site which funnily enough provides top reviews for uk gaming computers - oh and Ken Taylor is his trainee engineer, nice pic of him here. Obviously doesn't have the brain cells to think up more than a few fake names...or remember what he's written on his website! :rotfl: :rotfl:
What a complete fix! Perhaps someone should set up a FB group pointing this out, complete with screenshots before he has chance to change/delete relevant info. That'll show him what a valuble marketing tool, FB is.There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -
That's an interesting point about the same guy owning "gamingpcreviews".
If Ken Taylor is their trainee engineer it makes you wonder if "Phil Aston" is related to another computer engineer "Chris Aston", mentioned here:

I put a few home truths in the comments on Facebook which have been deleted and I have been blocked.
Total scam.
I have clicked on 'Report Page' as spam or scam and I suggest others do so as well.Silentnight Bed, Babystyle Travel System, City iGo Headphones, Amazon Kindle, £50 iTunes Voucher, Jaeger Handbag, Fisher Price Baby Gym, Digital Waterproof Camera,

It must have been very convenient for James Johnson
Looking at his friends list most of them are based in Colchester so presumably he lives in Colchester which just happens to be where UK Gaming Computers are based.Well, you know, my ancestry isn't all hamster.

Hello Mr Director. Why not just take any doubt out of the whole thing and link the winners names on facebook? For instance, when I type someones name on a group message on FB ,it comes up as a blue link. I know you don't have to but it would eradicate any doubt anyone may have.0

I am one of the Directors for the Company in question. After being pointed in this direction, I feel a few people need some questions answered.
1- Mark Hockchild was a typo. Our Online Marketing guy c*cked up.
2- Once Upon a Time we did have a 'Ken Taylor' work for us. I can assure you, our FB winner is NOT that same person.
3- Our Fist Winner, James, is indeed from Colchester, down the road from us. When the FB group was setup staff were encouraged to invite friends and family to 'like' the page. I have since found out James is one of those people, despite the Online Marketing guy not knowing at the time.
The phrase "sore looser" comes to mind. You have to make the effort to click 2 left mouse button clicks to become a fan. A 'scam' for not having to make to mouse clicks? Seriously? If you don't like it, then simply un-fan us rather than spreading slander.
Remember, This is a competition. Whilst a number generator says who wins and who doesn't, we have the final say. We don't have to run this competition and can cancel it at any point. With a small minority making such a fuss I wonder why we bother and I am seriously considering pulling the plug on it.
If you have any concerns about how we run our competitions or wish to address any issues with this post then you can freely email myself directly at 'director at ukgamingcomputers dot co dot uk'.
If you are a director of this company I wouldn't have any confidence in someone at your level who can't spell or capitalises words mid sentence.Justice for the 96 YNWA
