Seem to remember a while back someone mentioned a way of getting a free credit check w/out giving card details and remembering to cancel before the 30 day period ??

Hi tommy,
I don't know of this method of the free credit report and have always only used the offer that you have to give the card details for. I always printed my report off immediately and then cancelled it straight away though to avoid having to pay. If there is an option, hopefully someone who is aware of it will be along soon.If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
