How I make extra pennies at Christmas ;)

Dear All,
Some light refreshment before I go to bed....
This will be the third year in a row that I have made extra cash at Christmas by making Christmas wreaths. I mainly sell them to family and friends for doors and gravesides. The first year I made them using Leylandii foliage from a tree my cousin was pruning in her back garden, and I made somewhere in the region of £250. Last year, I bought a holly bush some council gardeners had cut down for £60 and cleared around £300. This year I will be doing it on a smaller scale and doing some much needed tree pruning for my materials.
Wreath making is incredibly easy to do, and once word gets round that you are making them, you'll get loads of orders. I used this lovely lady's website to learn how to make them. Its dead easy once you've made a couple, the hardest thing is finding the right gloves and trying not to jag yourself! You can use all sorts to decorate, first year I bought proper wreath decorations, but last year I just bought small baubles, bells and ribbon from Asda that actually worked out cheaper.
Give it a go, even if its just for your door
