I sent off for a prescription from my doctor for a pump bottle of my usual E45 cream and the prescription has come back for Zero Base cream. I have asked about this in Boots and have been told that doctors are now prescribing this instead of E45 because its cheaper. I have never heard of it and don't want to get it incase its not the same, I might aswell buy the E45 in that case, has anyone heard of this cream.

I've had Double Base for my son, which is really good stuff. Slightly oilier than normal emolient, maybe that's why its Double Base and the one you are getting is Zero Base. The other one we had was Certraben, same as E45. I don't think there's much of a difference between most of them to be honest.Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0
